This is a great opportunity for an experienced Drupal Developer to develop and maintain multiple Drupal based marketing solutions and websites in a fast paced and fun environment.

Responsibilities: 
  • Own and manage the Drupal infrastructure and sites and applications with multiple web nodes.
  • Develop, code and design best practices for Drupal 7, eCommerce and marketing functionalities leveraging open source frameworks.
  • Deliver sophisticated Drupal-based sites pushing the boundaries of the platform.
  • Engage with business users to understand the requirements.
  • Direct user support, general troubleshooting, and documentation.
Requirements: 
  • B.S. in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of Drupal experience (samples of applications worked on are required)
  • Strong experience implementing Drupal application/sites with deep understanding of modules, extensions, themes, and sophisticated CMS development.
  • In-depth experience developing PHP applications (at least 2 yrs).
  • Familiarity with the ecosystem of existing contributed Drupal modules.
  • Capable of writing/modifying Drupal modules.
  • Administration of Apache servers. MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, and template based systems.
  • Strong understanding of web architecture that foster modularity, layering, and reusability of templates.
  • Independent, self-starter, organized, no micro-management. Excellent communication skills.
  • Effective in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience in the higher education industry or online marketing firms eCommerce expertise (Ubercart, DrupalCommerce).
  • Experience working in Acquia DevCloud Open source development experience.
